Jon Pease, M.A., LMFT
Jon Pease, M.A., LMFT is a clinician, consultant, speaker, and founder of Accel Counseling Corp. and Gritworks Collective LLC. Operating at the intersection of psychology, radical accountability, and focused action, he doesn’t do "vanilla" therapy.
Jon spent 5 years serving as an Assistant Director at a non-profit—running an FSP (Full Service Partnership) program for at-risk youth and managing a team of over 20 clinicians. Previously, he spent 10 years directing "Not The Target," a program actively helping kids recognize and respond to peer aggression. Today, he specializes in the hidden architecture of human behavior, trauma, and nervous system regulation, helping high-performers, leaders, and couples strip away the logical excuses keeping them stuck.
His approach is unrelenting yet highly empathetic: stop externalizing problems, step directly into the tension, and do the real work.
Jon helps people learn how to quiet the "monkey mind" using a direct, conversational style full of vivid, pattern-interruptive metaphors. His goal is to pull clients out of their heads and into their bodies—because you can’t simply think your way out of a feeling. As the author of the forthcoming book, The Nine Energetic Betrayals ("Do you want to publish it?"), Jon translates intricate psychological concepts—from somatic emotional processing to transgenerational trauma—into sharp, accessible frameworks.
Whether guiding a couple through their defensive walls or helping a leader overcome a toxic shame spiral, Jon asks the singular, unflinching question: "What does this mean to you?"
